Distortion | 52 Weeks

This week’s theme is distortion. With this image I added some distortion in my editing to highlight her little foot. I love this image because she frequently does this and her big brother used to curl his toes like this too. Just one of those sweet moments I want to remember always.

I love being a photographer because I love capturing family moments especially for moms who are rarely behind the camera. And when you’re a photographer mom it’s really rare to be in front of the camera, so it was a treat to capture this family last week! Mom is a photographer from Wyoming! O and his mom came to Austin for a quick, rainy shoot. We had maybe 15 minutes to capture these before it began pouring. O is one of my son’s best buddies. He’s so much fun and always a dream to photograph.
