I’m from Mississippi. McComb, MS to be exact. Every other year my family and I travel there for Thanksgiving. The great thing about being from McComb is I have friends that still live there that I’ve known since we were babies. I can’t even remember when I met one of my best friends, P. I just know we have pictures together when we were four. I have photographed her family several times now. Her oldest E is a dream to photograph and she’s just gorgeous! I got to meet B this time too and she’s a beauty too! I just love B’s dark hair. How cute are these girls?

Mr. S just kills me with his blue eyes. I photographed him back in March and got the best smiles. You can check those out here. I can’t believe how much he’s changed…he looks like a little man now! The J family and I met up on Sunday evening and hoped we wouldn’t get rained out. They wanted to document their family of three before they become a family of four! They were such troopers in such yucky weather. It rained on our way to meet and we only had a few moments before it started to rain again. We still got off a few shots and the rain, I think, gave a neat effect. Aren’t they a beautiful family!

The H family contacted me to take portraits near their home in Galveston. I warned them this would be my first time photographing at the beach, but I was so excited about the opportunity. They are such a fun family and were game for most anything I threw at them. Get ready for a long post everyone…I had a hard time choosing for the sneak peek.
