These two are my loves. My heart swells when I think of them and know these moments are fleeting. I think about them constantly and hope I’m doing my best by them. I thought I’d share a few shots we took in Mississippi. There are more of my girl than my boy because the boy was too excited to go back and play with his cousins.

The M family and I met up twice last week. The first time it rained! Yay for rain here in Austin but it put a big damper on our session. So we met up again last Thursday on a perfect sunny afternoon.

Last weekend, all weekend, we had a chance of rain. One of my sessions did get rained out. Rain is so needed here in Austin but it put a damper on my shooting plans! Luckily this sweet family’s session went off without a hitch and we were only sprinkled on a few times.

This past weekend I met up with a lovely family at Zilker Botanical Garden. C and S waited so long for little M and they adore her…absolutely adore her. And why wouldn’t they? She’s a dream. It was fun exploring Zilker with them and marveling at the love they have for each other. I felt many times like I was taking a little glimpse into their lives. Thanks so much C and S for choosing me to capture your sweet family.

I love Austin in the fall. I love that it’s so nice outside most of the time. This was a perfect day. We weren’t sweltering from the oppressive heat and were not terribly cold. We even had Mayfield Park all to ourselves. I also love capturing sweet families like Rachel, Stephen and sweet Kate. Kate recently turned one and Rachel and Stephen wanted to capture her at one. And I love photographing one year olds. There’s no posing and I always have lots of fun. This family was no exception. After we spent time at Mayfield Park, Rachel, Kate and I headed over to Tarrytown Methodist Church to capture Kate in the pumpkin patch they have there. Such a fun morning.

This weekend I got to spend the morning with the sweetest baby boy. This is baby number three for this family and they didn’t know if he would be the only girl or one of three brothers. I can only imagine the fun these three brothers will have growing up together.
