Isn’t he adorable! His parents have fallen hard for him and it’s so easy to see why. He almost makes me miss my kids’ newborn days. It’s really nice to be able to get my baby fix this way.

This little guy has grown so much since I saw him last at two weeks but he’s just as sweet now as he was then. I had so much fun spending time with little Eliot and documenting his almost one year old self.

It’s almost always a struggle for me to capture my own kids. Occasionally I get the shot I’m dreaming about but not often. They know all my tricks and are honestly a little over it. Even my girl. So this weekend when I wanted to do some bluebonnets pictures I called my friends Nancy and Matt and asked her to come along with her dogs, her friend from out of town, and her friend’s cute daughter. Finely and my boy became fast friends and spent most of the weekend together. Thanks Nancy and Matt! :) My girl also adores Nancy’s dogs, especially CoCo. And who could ask for more photogenic dogs.

Eme, her family, and I met up last weekend on a very cold Saturday morning. Her mom, Erin, and I have been trying to schedule this session for months and each time it was so cold out and we didn’t think Eme would be up to it. So after a beautiful week last week we woke up to a cold morning. agh! However, Eme was a dream to photograph and is just so cute. She and I also bonded a bit during the session…we became fast friends. :)

These two are my loves. My heart swells when I think of them and know these moments are fleeting. I think about them constantly and hope I’m doing my best by them. I thought I’d share a few shots we took in Mississippi. There are more of my girl than my boy because the boy was too excited to go back and play with his cousins.
