I have been so busy lately I haven’t had time to update the blog. I have lots of sessions to blog including some minis from a few weekends ago. I met up with this sweet family last weekend. They are so sweet and I just loved watching them interact together. Even their dog, Yogi, got in on the action.
It’s so fun to be able to see old friends through my business! We met Sabrina and Shawn when we lived in Houston. My family and I make the trek to Houston occasionally and Sabrina contacted me about a session. It worked out perfectly and we got to spend some time together and let our kids play. This session began my month long onslaught of mini sessions. With the minis and full sessions I’m completely booked for October. I have one slot left in November, so if you’re interested the time to contact me is now!
I met S through my social work job. She has the sweetest family. We packed a lot into this session including a cake smash. The newly minted one year old was not interested in the cake which really made me laugh. I love kids and how unpredictable they can be. 🙂 Thanks S for such a fun session!
Have I mentioned before how much I love capturing families in their homes? Seriously it’s so fun. Kids and parents are generally more relaxed and I feel like I capture life happening. It’s such a privilege. Don’t you just love these brothers. They are the cutest! Big brother and my girl are in the same class at preschool. Every day I pick her up he comes up to me and says loudly, “Hi Ms Callie!” Just adorable.
It has been a while since I lasted posted. My summer has been a wee bit hectic. I’ve had more summer sessions that I ever remember…a few haven’t made it to the blog just because I’m running out of time. My plan is to post them soon. My computer was also sick for the month of July but it’s back now and working hard for me. This mama has been so patient with me and my computer troubles. This is her and her boy’s third time to see me and little sister’s first! I loved meeting her. They braved the heat on a July afternoon to meet up for some images and I’m so glad they did. I always love seeing them and spending time with this sweet family. You can see their previous sessions here and here.
This family and I have been talking a while about a downtown/garage type session. We were able to meet up this past weekend and it was hot! They were such troopers but we only lasted about 45 minutes before the boys were ready to call it a day. It’s always a blast when families come ready to play. In my opinion, the playfulness and connections I capture make the best images.

This little guy was the sweetest baby as is his family. I know I say this all the time but I just love my clients and this family was amazing! I could have spent all day photographing them. Little guy slept the entire time I was there…he was a dream to photograph. Thanks so much O family…you’re the best!
