When we lived in Austin and I first put my boy in school (Hawthorne Montessori), Erin was the first mom I met. We hit it off and so did our boys. Our boys have been buds since they were 2. They have had such a neat friendship. I love this family so much and was thrilled to capture them. They are such a fun and sweet family.
I had the privilege of photographing my amazing realtor, Mandy Petersen, and her sweet family a few weekends ago. She helped us find the perfect home before our big move to Waco. We were so glad we found her. We had so much fun in downtown Waco. There are so many fun places to photograph families downtown.
A few weeks ago I traveled to Dallas to do a session for the H family. Previously they traveled to Austin to see me but since I’m much closer to Dallas now I drove to them. It was such a blast to visit with them in their home and the Dallas Arboretum, a place they love. Their kids remind me so much of my own…sweet older brother with a ready for anything little sister.
I offered mini sessions in March and this family who has been using me to document their family for 6 years now came out for one. A mini session or a simplicity session (if you’re in Waco) is a great way to document older kids. I’ll be offering mini sessions in Austin this October so stay tuned for that announcement.
