52 on Fridays | Austin Child Photographer

I’m thrilled to share with you a new project I’m working on this year.  I’m part of a photography forum called Bloom.  Several groups have popped up in which several photographers will post an image weekly on a certain theme that changes each week.  I recently joined one of these groups and we are starting our project this week.  Every Friday you can check back to see how I interpret the theme and then follow the links to the other photographers in my group and see how they interpret the theme.  This week’s theme is “good night.”

A little about this image.  This is my boy’s bear bear.  He loves bear bear and sleeps with him every night.  Bear bear is suffering from a little too much love lately and I thought I should document this sweet time in my boy’s life.

Please go check out the very talented Aubri at Pink Sky Photography | Canton, MI | Maternity, Newborn, Child Photographer and see how she interprets the theme.  Feel free to leave lots of comments as you tour the blogs.  We all love to hear your thoughts!

  • What a perfect image!

  • I love the black and white and the bear does look like he is smiling!

  • This is precious! The bear may not survive to your son’s adulthood, but he’ll always have this sweet photo to remember his childhood “lovey” by 🙂 how sweet!

  • So, so sweet. I love how the emphasis is on Bear Bear.

I love this image! I love that his little bear is worn, it shows that he loves it a whole lot!

  • Precious!

  • Your image has such emotional power. I remember carrying my little Raggedy Ann with me wherever I went as a youngster. The details in your image are incredible, from the wear on the bear to your son’s long eyelashes. Lovely!

  • So precious! I have several of my boys like this because I just can’t help myself 🙂 And I especially love the “very loved” lovey!
